Job Title: Virtual Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Virtual Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Communicate test results to patients in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Create referrals for specialist healthcare providers while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  3. Coordinate lab orders, imaging, and scheduling appointments for patients.
  4. Update electronic medical records (EMR) with precision and attention to detail.
  5. Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
  6. Utilize communication tools like soft phones to interact with patients and healthcare providers.
  7. Complete ad hoc tasks as needed to support the healthcare team.
Qualifications
  • RN License - US certification is mandatory.
  • At least 1-year experience in Medical Virtual Assistance.
  • Prior specialisation or experience in patient care, family medicine, acute care, or clinical settings is preferred.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with a minimum of C1 level.
  • Solid understanding of medical terminologies and practices.
  • Proficient in EHR/EMR systems and able to troubleshoot common technical issues.
  • Understanding of healthcare privacy regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Solid organisational & time management skills with keen attention to details.
  • Tech-savvy and familiar with current technologies, such as desktop sharing, cloud services, and VoIP.
  • Able to work on a graveyard shift.
