About the Position:

As a Remote Healthcare Assistant, you will collaborate closely with onsite medical administrative staff to manage patient scheduling, confirm appointments, liaise with insurance providers, and ensure an excellent patient experience. Reporting to the office manager, you will work alongside a dedicated team of remote and onsite medical administrative professionals. This role focuses on multiple specialties and is based all over the US.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries
  2. Schedule and confirm appointments
  3. Pre-screen calls (triage) and direct patients accordingly
  4. Facilitate communication between insurance providers and other healthcare entities
  5. Assist with various administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  1. Strong phone etiquette
  2. Fluent in English and Spanish
  3. Exceptional customer service skills
  4. Strong critical thinking abilities
  5. Professionalism
  6. Background in U.S. healthcare
