Global Fundraising Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to join a highly respected international organization as a Prospect Research Consultant.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the global fundraising efforts of our organization by conducting high-level research on individuals, corporations, trusts, and foundations.

  • Identify potential partners and donors whose interests align with our mission.
  • Conduct thorough research on prospects using various biographical, organizational, and financial sources.
  • Analyze donor data to proactively identify new prospects.
  • Build strong relationships with fundraisers and relationship managers to link data and research to prospect approaches.
  • Prepare comprehensive profiles for senior staff and volunteers to support relationship building, stewardship activities, and prospect identification.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a prospect research role or advanced training in prospect research.
  • Strong knowledge of development, donor lifecycle, and engagement activities.
  • Excellent research and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Ability to rapidly assess information from various sources.
  • Demonstrated discretion handling sensitive material with integrity.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Work Arrangements

This is a remote-based role with flexible working hours. The ideal candidate will be willing to work UK/US hours and have excellent time management skills.
