Job Title: Commercial Manager

The APAC Commercial Lead will oversee commercial activities for a portfolio of premium and emerging brands in the beverage industry. The role will develop and implement agreed business strategies, identify new business opportunities, and manage trade and distribution projects across all APAC markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage contracts and agreements with distribution partners
  • Set and cascade sales goals and targets to achieve annual objectives
  • Monitor sales depletions and customer stock-in-trade
  • Compile monthly competitive activation and pricing reports
  • Implement merchandising and planogram standards
  • Drive SKU channel strategy and maintain pricing objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and distributors
  • Conduct regular meetings and trade visits with clear agendas
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with distributors
  • Deliver annual sales targets and achieve volume growth
  • Collaborate with distributors and key accounts to prepare annual volume forecasts
  • Secure additional SKU listings in target accounts
  • Negotiate retail displays, signage, promo packs, and NPD sell-ins
  • Partner with marketing to execute trade deals, manage budgets, and prepare proposals
  • Develop a pipeline of leads for new key accounts
Account Universe Management:
  • Expand account base through market visits and customer engagement
  • Maintain account tracking reports and identify growth opportunities
  • Ensure store listing compliance and account retention
  • Prepare segmentation reports by channel (e.g., bar, restaurant, club)
  • Conduct regular store checks for retail accounts
  • Organize training sessions for key retail and on-premise partners
  • Strengthen relationships with retail and on-premise key accounts
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree; marketing experience is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years' proven sales experience (local, regional, or global)
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of brand building, customers, and consumers
  • Proficiency in MS Office or equivalent (e.g., G Suite)
  • Excellent time management, communication, and presentation skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
  • Adherence to corporate policies and ethical standards

Flexible working arrangement combining remote work with in-person meetings as needed to achieve objectives. Occasional business travel across APAC will be required.
