Lead Doctor Outreach Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Lead Doctor Outreach Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing doctor outreach campaigns for clinical trial site activation.

As a key member of our team, you will research and filter doctors using various tools such as ChatGPT, Google, NPI Registry, and Definitive Healthcare. You will also use clinical judgment and U.S. standard of care research to identify the right specialists and exclude poor fits. Additionally, you will build targeting frameworks using CPT, ICD-10, and claims logic, and ensure that all lists are 95%+ accurate and quality-controlled before any email goes out.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute doctor outreach campaigns for clinical trial site activation
  • Research and filter doctors using various tools
  • Use clinical judgment and U.S. standard of care research to identify the right specialists
  • Build targeting frameworks using CPT, ICD-10, and claims logic
  • Ensure accuracy and quality control of lists
  • Manage outreach coordinator(s) and assign work, check quality, and coach improvement
  • Run email sequences in Mixmax or similar tools
  • Triage replies and hand off to the PM or Medical Director for NDA and qualification
  • Track outreach performance in Airtable or CRM

Requirements:

  • High-context outreach campaigns in healthcare, clinical research, or healthtech
  • Understanding of how doctors actually work and how referrals happen
  • Ability to reverse-engineer who's seeing the right patients and how to filter them
  • Systems-driven individual with experience building playbooks, workflows, and logic trees
  • Capability to manage junior staff and get the best out of them
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to write persuasive outreach copy
  • Comfortable in Airtable, ChatGPT, Mixmax, and using Google Sheets or lightweight CRMs
