
Display Business Development Manager

Display Business Development Manager at Samsung Southeast Asia & Oceania. You will lead partnerships with premier partners, resellers and/or distributors to develop and execute strategies that generate a healthy sell-out run-rate, achieve sales targets, and drive sustainable growth. You will also expand the product's market coverage by creating a product line-up operation plan.
Responsibilities- Channel development: Create a channel plan to tap the open B2B market potential. Develop existing and recruit new channel partners based on the plan.
- Sales operations: Work with Product Managers and Strategic Planning & Investment teams to study run rate, PSI (Product-Sales-Inventory) and WOS (Week of Supply) forecasts accurately.
- Line-up management: Develop and manage the line-up portfolio plan and drive efficiency improvements and market issue responses.
- Launch management: Set product/service launch timelines by analyzing target quantity and its profit and loss, and by working with the marketing department.
- Pricing operation: Help devise pricing strategies for each segment and model.
- Discontinuation management: Minimize leftover materials when a product is discontinued by setting appropriate timelines and plans to utilize leftovers.
- End-user client relationship management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients. Build and nurture long-term partnerships. Understand client needs, goals and challenges. Regularly communicate to ensure satisfaction and address concerns. Maintain accurate client records in CRM systems.
- Sales and business development: Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Negotiate and close deals. Contribute to sales strategies and plans. Achieve or exceed sales targets and quotas. Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Internal collaboration: Work with internal teams (sales, marketing, product development, customer support) to meet client needs. Advocate for client interests and provide feedback to improve products and services. Prepare and present reports on account performance and progress.
- Other duties: Monitor market trends and competitor activities. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry best practices. Handle client complaints and resolve issues. Manage account budgets and ensure timely payments.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing (or related field).
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in Channel Sales, Channel Development or Business Development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present, persuade, and negotiate with key decision-makers.
- Ability to manage stakeholders from different levels.
- Ability to analyze data, derive insights, create solutions, and solve problems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to work fully on-site at McKinley Hill, Taguig.
