The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing the learning and development programs within an organization. Their role involves designing, implementing, and evaluating training initiatives to ensure employees acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively and advance their careers. They work closely with managers and employees to identify learning needs, create training content, and ensure training programs align with organizational goals and objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and performance gaps
- Analyze data and feedback to identify training priorities
- Design and develop learning materials and resources
- Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theories
- Utilize various instructional methods and approaches
- Facilitate engaging and interactive sessions
- Develop evaluation strategies to assess training effectiveness
- Monitor training metrics and key performance indicators
- Coordinate training logistics and maintain records
- Support specialized training programs
- Support the Organizational Development activities
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Education, Marketing Communications, Human Resources Management or Equivalent Course
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Specialist/Officer Role
- At least 3 years' experience in facilitating soft skills training (conflict management, leadership, etc.)
- Related experience in Instructional Design, Module Development and Training Delivery
- At least 2 years exposure in Organizational Development Initiatives
- Experience in Operations or Manufacturing setup or organization is an advantage
- Excellent presentation skills (PowerPoint and Excel)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively as a team
- Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning concepts is necessary
- Flexible to travel
- With Data Analytics skills, Performance Management, Learning Management Systems and Project Management
- Willing to work on a full-time basis in BGC, Taguig
