As an Underwriter for Auto Loans Team , you will be responsible for evaluating current credit data/information of borrowers to determine eligibility/qualification according to set standards or credit parameters and the degree of risk involved in extending credit/loans.

What you’ll contribute
  • Perform thorough underwriting application assessment approvals by endorsing qualified applications and approving qualified borrowers.
  • Review credit profile and related information of borrowers, identify credit risk and establish mitigants for assigned loan products.
  • Proactively execute the Credit Policy Manual/guidelines applying the assigned loan product with prudence and sensibility.
  • Adhere to the Bank's internal and external policies/procedures/standards, and align with organizational directives while performing tasks compliant with internal and external audits.
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or any field of study.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant work experience in credit evaluation/credit analysis.
  • Knowledge of credit policies and procedures, and risk management.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers (stakeholders).
  • Analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented.
