Job Description

As a US Loan Processor, you will handle the end-to-end loan process-from verifying borrower documentation to ensuring compliance and timely loan closings. You'll collaborate with multiple departments to deliver accuracy, efficiency, and an exceptional borrower experience.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 2 years of current experience in processing residential home loans (conventional, FHA, and VA products preferred).
• Superior customer service skills with the ability to deliver timely and professional updates.
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and available loan products.
• Familiarity with underwriting requirements (agency, FHA, and VA preferred).
• Experience with Microsoft Office and loan processing systems (Encompass preferred).

Your Daily Tasks

• Obtain and analyze information necessary to process mortgage applications, including credit reports, income documentation, assets, title work, appraisals, and any other pertinent information.
• Manage daily loan pipelines to meet rate lock expirations, commitment dates, and department turnaround times.
• Communicate loan status updates to borrowers, loan officers, and other key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with disclosure requirements and all regulatory standards.
• Accurately prepare files for closing, verifying dates, escrow accounts, and coordinating with settlement agents.
• Work closely with underwriting, documentation, funding, and post-closing teams to ensure loan accuracy and purchase readiness.
• Maintain and update loan status within the LOS, processing denied or cancelled loans promptly to ensure accurate reporting.
