Accounts & Payroll Officer York Hamilton Corporate Partners – Remote – Full‑time, 40 hours per week, Immediate start. Job Summary We’re looking for a skilled Accounts & Payroll Officer to manage end‑to‑end payroll, invoicing, and accounts tasks. This role ensures financial accuracy across multiple systems while supporting internal teams and client relationships. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process weekly payroll for submission to the company Accountant. Use information and timesheets from Aroflo and enter data accurately into Xero. Match trade timesheets in Aroflo to job tracking records. Verify timesheet accuracy by tracking vehicle data through Verizon to align with site attendance. Raise and manage high‑volume client invoices. Follow client‑specific invoicing procedures across multiple portals (e.g., Aroflo, Ariba, Panorama). Send receipts and maintain accurate invoicing records. Receive and review supplier and trade invoices in Aroflo, cross‑checking against purchase orders, quoted works, and project documentation. Liaise with relevant Project Managers when required to verify supplier or trade invoices. Submit verified invoices to the Accountant for processing. Generate and maintain debtor reports. Liaise with clients regarding overdue invoices and payment disputes. Request and collect client remittance advice and forward them to the Accountant. Prepare and issue project invoices in line with strict procedural and compliance requirements. Support Project Managers and internal teams with finance‑related documentation and reconciliations. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field. Proven experience in payroll and accounts administration. Strong understanding of accounting software (Xero, Aroflo) and client invoicing systems (Ariba, Panorama). Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
