What you'll be doing
Sales Leadership, Business Development & Strategy Execution:
• Drive sales of warehousing services through the execution of a
comprehensive national sales plan aligned with business development
objectives.
• Identify and develop potential customers, new market segments, revenue
streams, and strategic partnerships to expand the customer base and
penetrate target industries. Actively secure new customers per agreed
annual targets.
• Lead the achievement of sales goals by proactively prospecting, qualifying,
managing, and closing opportunities across both new and existing
accounts.
Team Management & Development:
• Recruit, coach, and manage a high-performing team of sales professionals,
solution designers, and account managers to exceed revenue and gross
margin targets.
• Set clear performance targets for each team member, ensuring alignment
with the national sales budget and broader company growth strategy.
• Monitor and evaluate individual and team performance, providing action
able feedback and tailored development plans to drive continuous
improvement.
Strategic Account Management & Solutions Design:
• Transform transactional sales engagements into long-term strategic
partnerships through consultative selling, solution design, and value
creation.
• Develop and implement comprehensive key account development plans
focused on retention, expansion, and customized logistics solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to co-design
scalable, cost-effective solutions that meet client-specific requirements.
Campaign Management, Marketing & Sales Enablement:
• Develop, launch, and manage localized sales and marketing campaigns to
drive lead generation, brand visibility, and customer engagement.
• Support centrally coordinated marketing initiatives with sales enablement
tools, customer success stories, and market insights.
• Align all sales and marketing activities with evolving market trends,
competitor positioning, and customer demands.
Customer Relationship Management:
• Build and nurture strong relationships with clients and business partners to
enhance loyalty and customer satisfaction.
• Manage client expectations, resolve escalations effectively, and ensure the
delivery of best-in-class service through internal collaboration.
Tender Management & Pricing Strategy:
• Lead the development and submission of competitive proposals for
regional and global tenders, in coordination with global tender teams.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies in collaboration with senior
management to balance customer value with company profitability.
Commercial Support:
• Work closely with finance to resolve payment issues, particularly in cases
involving commercial disputes or contract conditions.
• Oversee the timely creation and submission of proposals, quotations, and
commercial agreements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business
terms.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
• Ensure all business development and sales activities including meetings,
lead management, contact reports, and pipeline updates are accurately
maintained in the CRM system
• Deliver regular weekly and monthly performance reports, sales forecasts,
and actionable market intelligence to key stakeholders.
Compliance & Process Adherence:
• Adhere to established SOPs, pricing frameworks, and internal governance
processes to ensure transparency, consistency, and compliance across all
commercial functions.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Implementation Support:
• Lead regular business reviews with clients and internal stakeholders,
including operations, finance, and executive leadership.
• Drive implementation projects with operations to ensure timely, high-
quality solution deployment.
Other Duties:
• Perform additional tasks and strategic projects as assigned by senior
leadership in support of broader business goals.
What You Bring:
What skills & experience you'll bring to us
Bachelor's degree preferably in Sales and Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in the logistics industry (especially warehousing and transportation)
Strong understanding of warehousing operations and domestic distribution channels
Proficient in MS Office with good analytical skills
