The Platform Solutions manager is a commercial role who will be responsible for business development, account management, client scoping and solution crafting for partners and clients that will be interested in the services listed under platform solutions (Ramps, Crypto-as-a-Service, Bonds-as-a-Service). The person occupying the role is expected to pitch to potential clients, manage accounts, understand the nuances of the industry, and support in the head of platform solutions in managing topline for the products listed under platform solutions. In addition, they will have a major role in the conceptualization, product design, and partner evaluation for the Ramps product of PDAX which will necessitate experience in the payments space.

Note: Initially an Individual Contributor (IC) role with the potential to become a supervisory role with the growth of the business

Responsibilities

  • Convert accounts from initial pitch, negotiation, onboarding, to go live.
  • Constantly identify growth opportunities to increase the client base and usage (both volume and value) through new market/customer segment and product expansion.
  • Based on customer requirements and view of the market, propose and help develop new product features or product lines.
  • Support the Head of Platform solutions in cross functional discussions by working with internal stakeholders to achieve financial, operational, technical, commercial and regulatory compliance success.
  • Work with platform solutions team in crafting go-to-market strategies based on data and insights.
  • Deliver business targets through excellent execution of strategies.
Qualifications
  • Experience in solution selling and product design work in the financial services sector preferred (e.g., payment solutions, cash management / transaction management solutions, remittance, e-wallets).
  • Knowledgeable of the concepts and philosophies of surrounding the use of APIs especially in applications in the finance space.
  • Strong understanding and experience of payment technologies especially alternative payment methods (non-card e.g., debit pull, via ACH, over the counter).
  • Understanding of the regulations that cover the payments sector.
  • Interest in the virtual asset/blockchain space and its potential applications.
  • Effective communicator to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • At least 4 years of cumulative working experience in the Payments, Fintech, Remittance, Digital asset industries.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Willingness to work in a startup environment – we need someone with an appetite for building.
  • Knowledgeable in cross-border money flows including commercial benchmarks and general regulation around remittances.
  • Existing network among key financial institutions, especially in the payments and e-wallets space.
  • Experience in digital asset or financial services industries particularly in payments, remittance, mobile/web banking, and cash management.
  • Enthusiasm for trading cryptocurrencies, equities, or forex.
