What will you do?

As an experienced Solution Architect within our Power Factory squad, you will be responsible for the design and documentation of fit-for-purpose future-ready solutions primarily based on Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Azure. This role is a technical lead role with line management responsibilities over Power Platform developers.

You will be working closely with the Automation squad, enterprise application squads, Solution Architects, Business Partners, and Shared Services support teams in designing Power Platform solutions that enable the Aurecon Vision, Strategy & Priorities.

• Design optimal solutions and produce high-level and detailed architecture artefacts to enable implementation and development activities and achieve their endorsement.
• Collaborate with relevant IT Domain Architects to obtain guidance around existing design and architecture principles, standards, and non-functional requirements.
• Focus on solution-level decisions and analysis of their impact on the existing IT environment while avoiding unnecessary technical debt.
• Escalate any barriers, dependencies, and risks with current or planned technical solutions and collaborate to mitigate those.
• Ensure that the endorsed design is adhered to during implementation and build, and that there is no deviation by delivery team.
• Ensure quality, consistency, and traceability of design.
• Provide supervision and guidance to development team.
• Support the squad in planning, scoping, budgeting etc.
• Ensuring effective solution design documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Ensuring that individual and team KPIs and SLAs are achieved.
• Anticipating hurdles and have contingency plans to circumvent them.
• Contributing to the skills uplift across the product squad through knowledge sharing and coaching.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement and maturity of architecture and delivery processes.
• Taking ownership to evaluate technical requirements and advise on solutions designs and alternatives to meet business needs.
• Proactive in the establishment of the Power Platform on the application landscape of Aurecon by showcasing its technical benefits and capabilities.
• Contributing to ensure that the product is properly managed and fit for purpose.
• Exhibiting the depth and breadth of product knowledge through the impact of the solutions you deploy.
• Collaborate with IT Business Partners, Solution Architects, and other technical resources to align on support and delivery activities.
• Work closely with business stakeholders for the delivery of approved requirements, ensuring effective communication between the team and the business.
• Achieve capability maturity in technical skills and be responsible for talent development and team engagement to build high performing teams and meet evolving business needs.
• Ensure that the team provides high quality work, guided by optimized processes and enabled with adaptive capabilities and capacity

Essential skills and experience

• Demonstrated capability in leading small, highly technical teams, within a multinational IT BPO or Shared service environment.
• Functional and technical knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Azure.
• Extensive experience in architecting and implementing model-driven, canvas and portal apps, flows, and virtual agents/bots.
• Extensive experience in designing and deploying cloud-native solutions.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines to manage application lifecycle.
• Considerable experience in application and data integration, including but not limited to enterprise iPaaS, API management, ETL/ELT.
• Experience working in the software development lifecycle using an Agile approach.
• The ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Strong technology leadership to positively influence outcomes.
• Strong work ethics with high sense of integrity and accountability over the work of the team.
• Strong systems thinking with an analytical, creative and systematic approach to problem-solving.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen desire to deliver the highest quality solutions.
• Excellent ability to create high quality functional/technical documentation and technical requirements gathering skills.
• Excellent Communication Skills to technical and non-technical audience.
• Excellent Stakeholder Management skills and has worked with a diverse set of stakeholders
• Maintains an awareness of developing technologies and their application.
• Takes responsibility for personal development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in developing and supporting applications within Power Platform and Dataverse
• 2+ years' experience in Team Lead / Technical Lead / Supervisory roles
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (advantage)
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (advantage)
• Strong experience in Agile methodology and Scrum.
• Strong experience in application development and support in a Global Shared Services set up.
