PRIMARY PURPOSEThe Human Resource Manager is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive management of the human resources function within the organization. This role involves leading various HR initiatives, from staffing and onboarding to performance management and employee relations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with local regulations, developing and implementing HR strategies, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Lead the end-to-end staffing process, from recruitment and interviewing to hiring and on boarding, ensuring we attract and retain top talent.
  • Ensure all job descriptions are current and compliant with local regulations, maintaining accuracy and legal adherence.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive compensation strategy based on market research and pay surveys, ensuring competitiveness and fairness across all levels.
  • Investigate and resolve employee issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Utilize performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to teams, promoting continuous improvement and development.
  • Review, revise, and/ or develop company HR policies and procedures and ensure its implementation with consistency, fairness, and transparency.
  • Maintain and update organizational charts and employee directories, facilitating clear communication and reporting structures.
  • Partner with management to align HR goals with overall business initiatives, driving organizational success.
  • Manage and maintain HR systems and processes, leveraging technology to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Spearhead the conduct of performance and salary reviews
  • Providing support and guidance to HR staff as needed.
  • Analyze trends in compensation and benefits, identifying opportunities for enhancement and optimization.
  • Design and implement employee retention strategies, fostering a culture of engagement and loyalty.
EDUCATION, TECHNICAL CAPABILITY AND CAREER:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, labor relations, organizational development, business or related field
  • At least 10 years of working experience in Human Resources and 8 years of which is on a people management role
  • Experience in Procurement, Inventory & Logistics and Facilities Management is a must.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations
  • Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration and teamwork.
  • Experience with analyzing data to guide strategic employment planning.
