Job Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive training programs for retail employees at various levels.
  • Collaborating with department heads to identify knowledge gaps and develop training materials tailored to specific job roles.
  • Conducting training sessions, workshops, and seminars to educate employees on sales techniques, customer service practices, product knowledge, and other necessary skills.
  • Assessing the effectiveness of training programs through employee feedback, performance evaluations, and organizational metrics.
  • Monitoring and evaluating employee performance, identifying areas of improvement, and providing coaching and mentoring as needed.
  • Overseeing the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and new training methods to continuously enhance training programs.
  • Collaborating with HR and other departments to develop career development paths and succession plans for employees.
  • Managing the training budget, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective training solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or a related field (with 5years solid experience)
  • Proven work experience as a Training and Development Manager in the retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations, sales techniques, and customer service practices.
  • Familiarity with instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and competency-based training.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively train and motivate employees at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and measure training effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in using learning management systems and other technological tools to deliver training programs.
