About the role:

The primary objective is to proactively enhance sales performance and overall profitability within the designated Territory/Portfolio. This involves achieving sales growth targets and ensuring the retention of customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As the Sales Representative for the Philippines, the primary responsibilities are to drive sustainable sales, optimize sales income from the assigned product portfolio, and achieve business objectives. This includes managing accounts acquisition and overseeing the product group/brand.
  • Utilize financial and customer data to identify, analyze, and target high-potential accounts with significant sales growth opportunities.
  • Meet sales targets and other specified metrics and activities, such as sales, margin, and customer call visits.
  • Identify and respond to additional opportunities within the Territory in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing team.
  • Create a comprehensive plan for effective contact coverage, exceeding sales and growth targets.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the customer, their markets, and their competitors.
  • Effectively utilize the RS value proposition to differentiate RS from competitors in the minds of contacts.
  • Provide solutions that meet customer needs through the implementation of relevant and cost-effective value-added services.
  • Identify new contacts and expand the range of products purchased by utilizing the Value Proposition, positioning RS as the preferred supplier.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, CRM data, and sales reporting to maximize the potential of the customer base.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within both new and existing customers, actively seeking new business opportunities to achieve revenue targets.
  • Manage assigned Premier customers effectively, promoting the RS Pro Private label, and securing agreements.

Requirements:

  • Results driven and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Minimum 3 years proven track record in industrial field sales, including key account management
  • Able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels with excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • Commercial awareness, particularly around the cost of acquisition
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Good planning, prioritisation and time management skills
  • Understanding of procurement strategies within a business environment and able to articulate value solutions to support customer needs
  • A thorough understanding of the Philippines business environment, broad industry knowledge, industry drivers and trends
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Experience in engaging with Senior Management of companies

Desirable:

  • Understanding and experience of e-commerce solutions within a B2B environment
  • Project management and Automation and Control experience an advantage.
