Job Summary:

He/she is responsible for developing and executing all key sales objectives, strategies, and plans to achieve the company's revenue targets. Moreover, he/she plans, directs, and coordinates the operations of Sanserif, Inc., including the formulation of policies and management of daily operations in Sales, Marketing, and Events unit.

Duties & Responsibilities:


• Expands the company's current product offerings both locally and globally by maximizing other revenue streams within the organization's capability


• Designs and implements business strategies, plans and procedures to ensure sales targets are met on a monthly basis


• Establishes policies that promote company culture with high employee engagement and vision to become world-class in all of its existing processes


• Promotes comprehensive goals for performance and growth


• Leads employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication to achieve goals

o Motivates the sales, marketing, and events team to achieve the best results possible

o Sets activity and revenue targets for members of the sales, marketing, and events team

o Works on account management plans with the sales, marketing, and events team

o Identifies key areas for improvement in the sales process

o Spots market opportunities for new customers


• Leads and manages the sales activities of the sales, marketing, and events team, including ad sales (print and digital), events and sponsorship sales, magazine subscription sales, book sales and other properties, to ensure financial targets are met


• Meets or exceeds personal and group sales targets by servicing a number of existing key accounts, as well as bringing in new accounts


• Builds and maintains strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular servicing of accounts


• Forecasts the department's requirements by preparing an annual budget, scheduling and monitoring expenditures to keep within the budget, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions


• Develops and executes strategic plans by:

o forecasting and setting sales quotas

o projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new accounts

o collecting, analyzing, and summarizing market data and trends

o establishing pricing strategies and recommending package prices and inclusions


• Plans and prepares client presentation materials, media kits, and other selling tools and collaterals


• Directs and coordinates the activities of businesses or departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales, marketing, events and/or distribution of products


• Participates in formulating and administering company policies, directing and coordinating all department activities to develop and implement long-range goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth objectives


• Reviews financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data, such as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Result Areas (KRAs) to measure productivity and goal achievements and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement


• Determines staffing requirements; interviews, hires, and trains new employees; and oversees those personal processes


• Monitors business performance and departmental processes to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services, while staying within the budgetary limits


• Oversees activities directly related to making products or providing services


• Directs and coordinates organizational and financial activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency
