Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Officer to drive forward our vision and goals. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver, anticipating needs, and taking initiative to ensure seamless operations in our Marketing department. This role goes beyond traditional administrative tasks, requiring someone who is strategic, resourceful, and tech-savvy.

Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate the needs of the Marketing Department and take proactive steps to address them, not simply reacting to directives but actively seeking ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the department.
  • Social Media Management: Plan, create and schedule engaging social media posts across various platforms.
  • Planning and executing advertising campaigns across various channels such as digital, print and social media. This includes creating compelling ad content and monitoring campaign performance.
  • Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and boost sales.
  • Brand Enhancement: Identify opportunities to enhance the company's brand presence and visibility while building and maintaining the company's brand image through consistent messaging, visual identity, and brand positioning. This may involve creating brand guidelines and ensuring all marketing materials adhere to them.
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness by leveraging available tools, networks, and team resources to address challenges and find solutions.
  • Embrace a strategic mindset, contributing insights and ideas to help shape and execute company objectives while providing valuable input on business decisions and direction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, communications, marketing or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an executive assistant or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional ability to anticipate needs, problem-solve, and take initiative.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strategic thinking with the capacity to analyze situations and make informed decisions.
  • Tech savvy
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Reliable, trustworthy and honest
