HR Officer/Generalist

Responsible in handling a wide range of human resource functions like recruitment and selection, employee relations, engagement activities and learning and development to ensure a conducive and harmonious work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implements employee engagement activities
  • Monitors grievance administration and employee discipline
  • Administers the employee exit process
  • Handles DOLE compliance for the company
  • Reports progress and concerns on employee engagement to the Sr HR Officer -Employee Engagement and HR Manager on a regular basis.
  • Manages the recruitment process
  • Conducting the plant orientation on new hires and visitors.
  • Monitoring contracts of new hires and coordinating with recruitment services providers.
  • Strategizing recruitment process execution during peak season.
  • Updates recruitment reports (e.g., daily recruitment monitoring form, fill in report, efficiency report, passed qualified applicants report) to monitor performance against recruitment targets.
  • Attends job fairs organized by schools or the government (i.e., Public Employment Services Office)
  • Provides recommendations on recruitment process improvements for consideration of the HR Manager; assists in recruitment process documentation.
  • Ensures continuous communication on the importance of effective food safety management and conforming to the FSMS requirements, applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and mutually agreed customer requirements related to food safety.
  • Ensures that the FSMS is evaluated and maintained to achieve its intended results
  • Directs and supports subordinates to contribute to the effectiveness of the FSMS
  • Responsible for reporting any quality and food safety concerns to the Immediate Superior or any member of the food safety team.
  • Performs other work-related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
