
Channel Development Officer

- Build and execute the Channel strategy, programs and manage activities that will bring the assigned
category and channel growth & profitability.
- Increase brand presence in the channel and build share of mind and consumption in the On-Premise
environment and other focus channels
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESKnow the Customer & Consumer
- Gather and distill channel & customer & consumer information & translates these into actionable insights.
- Identify Key Channels & Cuisines and takes the lead in understanding key channels to unlock needs and
find scalable solutions.
- Observes back of house and front of House operations
- Formalize the sharing of information from across multiple functions – Sales, Marketing, Chef, R&D.
- Map Customer Needs and Consumer Needs and find common actionable insight across the channel.
Execute the Strategy
- Implements the strategies to drive penetration and increase market share.
- Aligns with total FS goal and ensure plans deliver to the distribution and penetration goals.
- Delivers NSV and Gross Margin objective of the channel & categories involved.
- Conducts trade visits and work with Sales team.
- Conducts data analysis to identify what works and what needs improvement (sales to trade per channel).
Keep NutriAsia abreast about the Foodservice Industry
- Keeps a lookout for competitor products & offers & assess its impact to NutriAsia.
- Creates a regular cadence to track competitive trade pricing & conducts comparative vs NutriAsia portfolio.
Handle NutriAsia Foodservice Brand Development & support sales execution
- Crafts On the Ground and Customers/ Consumer Engagement programs.
- Defines the Customer Journey and Maps Initiatives and identify programs that build NutriAsia brand Awareness
and Consideration among customers & consumers.
- Create programs that improve Trial and Conversion in focus channels for focus categories
- Ensures campaigns and sales tools are aligned with Brand Imperatives.
- Create appealing offers to the consumers to ensure share of mind and share of wallet
- Builds operator benefits to drive placement for Beverage
- Aids operators in demand creation & sellers communicating to operators
- Provide consult for Key Accounts & Regional Key Account Projects.
- Hand in hand with sales, deliver distribution & penetration objectives
Trade Tools Monitoring
- Monitor & coordinate & manage 3rd party partners for Asset monitoring
- Conducts regular trade audit on machines
Business Team Attendance & Participation
- Attends respective Business Team and provides valuable insight on Foodservice
- Cascades to FS team and follows thru on BT commitments
Promo Budget Management
- Monitors team execution of the approved budget and claims
Bachelor's degree; proficiency in English and Filipino is required
EXPERIENCE / EXPERTISE- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing or Trade Marketing.
- Experience in On-Premise Beverage Trade Marketing, an advantage
