Job Summary
The HR Manager oversees the full spectrum of human resources functions within the property, ensuring alignment with hospitality industry standards and corporate policies. The role is responsible for recruitment, employee relations, training & development, performance management, compensation & benefits, compliance with labor regulations, and fostering a positive workplace culture that enhances both employee engagement and guest service delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process from job posting to onboarding.
- Partner with department heads to forecast manpower needs and succession planning.
- Ensure talent acquisition strategies are aligned with hospitality service standards.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as a liaison between management and employees to resolve workplace issues.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, service excellence, and guest-centric values.
- Organize employee recognition, wellness, and engagement programs.
Training & Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate with Training Department/Corporate HR.
- Ensure employees are trained on SOPs, service standards, and compliance requirements.
- Support professional growth and career development of staff.
Performance Management
- Implement performance appraisal systems and KPI-based evaluations.
- Coach department heads on performance feedback and employee development.
- Manage disciplinary procedures fairly and in compliance with labor laws.
Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee payroll, timekeeping, and benefits administration.
- Benchmark salary structures against industry standards.
- Develop incentive and retention strategies aligned with hospitality practices.
Compliance & Policies
- Ensure compliance with DOLE, DOH, DOT, and other government regulations.
- Develop and update HR policies, employee handbook, and contracts.
- Manage service charge, incentives, and benefit distribution transparently.
Strategic HR & Organizational Development
- Provide HR insights to support management in decision-making.
- Align HR practices with the resort's vision, mission, and guest service culture.
- Support ISO, quality audits, and corporate HR initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or Hospitality Management.
- At least 10 years of HR experience, with 5+ years in a managerial capacity in hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and hospitality HR standards.
- Experience in handling employee relations, payroll, and training in hotels/resorts.
- With proven leadership and people management skills.

- Analytical and detail-oriented in HR data and reports.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems and digital HR tools.
- Ability to foster a positive and service-oriented work culture.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php60, Php75,000.00 per month
