Private Chef – Korean Cuisine Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Private Chef with expertise in Korean cuisine to prepare high-quality meals for a private household or individual clients. The ideal candidate must have deep knowledge of traditional and modern Korean dishes, ingredient sourcing, and meal planning to cater to specific dietary preferences and nutritional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

*Plan and prepare authentic Korean meals based on client preferences and dietary needs

*Source fresh and high-quality ingredients, including Korean specialty items

*Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring proper food safety standards

*Create customized meal plans, including daily meals, special occasions, and events

* Adapt traditional Korean recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions (e.g., vegetarian, gluten-free)

*Educate clients on Korean cuisine, including ingredients, preparation methods, and cultural significance

*Occasionally host or assist with small gatherings, dinner parties, or special events

*Manage grocery shopping, inventory, and budget for meal preparation

*Experiment with new recipes to keep the menu exciting and diverse

Requirements:

*Proven experience as a Personal Chef or in a professional kitchen, specializing in Korean cuisine

*Strong knowledge of traditional Korean cooking techniques and dishes (e.g., kimchi, bulgogi, bibimbap, jjigae, etc.)

*Ability to adapt meals based on dietary restrictions and preferences

*Excellent organizational and time-management skills

*Food safety and hygiene certification (preferred)

*Fluency in Korean (a plus, but not required)
