Compensation, Benefits Administration, Timekeeping Specialist

About the role

The role serves as a key resource for employee inquiries, providing guidance on compensation, benefits, and timekeeping matters. This position ensures that compensation practices are effectively aligned with performance management strategies to support the organization's overall goals. The incumbent will be responsible for the timely and accurate administration of compensation, benefits, and timekeeping processes through a hands-on approach. This role plays a vital part in enhancing employee satisfaction, engagement, and organizational success.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly payroll sheets, ensuring all adjustments for paid time off, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and other applicable factors are accurately reflected.
  • Process employee government-related claims and benefits, including GSIS, PhilHealth, and other statutory requirements.
  • Compute employee wages based on their contractual pay structure and calculate applicable bonuses, deductions, and other compensation adjustments.
  • Ensure accurate computation and deduction of taxes, social insurance, pension contributions, and other statutory obligations.
  • Administer payments for holidays, leave entitlements, and other applicable employee benefits.
  • Assist employees with government-related concerns, including the processing of government benefits and the issuance of BIR TIN and PhilHealth numbers for new hires.
  • Maintain and update accurate records of all payroll and pay-related transactions.
  • Coordinate with the Accounting and Finance departments to provide necessary payroll and benefits information.
  • Conduct benefits orientations and prepare employment contracts for newly regularized employees.
  • Address employee inquiries and concerns regarding salaries, attendance, and leave deductions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Execute all employee transactions efficiently and accurately through hands-on processing.
  • Accurately update and maintain employee records and databases within the HR Information System (HRIS).
  • Ensure compliance with e-Tap's safety, security, and information security standards.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Human Resource Management is preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in compensation, benefits, and timekeeping administration.
