About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our dynamic team at People's General Insurance Corporation. As an HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and driving the HR strategy for our organisation, ensuring our employees are supported and empowered to thrive. This is a full-time position based in our office in Manila City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices to support the overall business objectives
  • Managing the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations
  • Overseeing the compensation and benefits programme, ensuring it remains competitive and aligned with industry standards
  • Facilitating employee training and development initiatives to enhance skills and foster career growth
  • Collaborating with managers to identify and address HR-related challenges, providing strategic advice and solutions
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations
  • Analysing HR data and metrics to identify trends and inform strategic decision-making
  • Leading and mentoring a team of HR professionals to drive operational excellence

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within the insurance industry
  • Excellent knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and compliance requirements
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in leading and developing high-performing HR teams
  • Proficiency in HR information systems and data analysis
