Channel Development Manager

The Channel Development Manager is responsible for ensuring continuous growth and development in the Modern Trade business and organization. This role requires a strong strategic outlook, key account management, and people development capabilities, where both the skills and the stock of the organization are accelerated to meet the demands of a high-performance channel.
Channel expertise and a strong connection with stakeholders are critical skills for the CDM-Specialty position. Understanding customer policies and decision criteria is essential to elevate the FAC business and organization to a consistently valued partner status. Coaching and mentoring across levels in the Modern Trade organization are vital to enhancing sales competencies to a high level of professional engagement and capability.
He/She is expected to make recommendations on business directions the company should take in the managed channel. Responsibilities include structural enhancements and people movement to ensure business fluidity and efficiencies. The CDM will provide guidance to future leaders and ensure talent management within the organization, using innovation and resource management to deliver the best return on investment for the company and its people.
Portfolio management, category and space management, merchandising, and partnership programs are critical roles for this position. The CDM must possess strong and flexible leadership qualities that foster a culture of warmth and productivity, aiding in talent retention. Additionally, the role ensures that Fly Ace remains externally attractive to hire quality personnel to further strengthen the organization.
Strong collaboration and cross-functional acumen are essential, as frequent interactions with both internal and external stakeholders are expected. Executive maturity and team spirit are crucial qualities. The CDM must be aligned with the corporate vision and support management in key initiatives, contributing to turning these into attainable goals with actionable steps.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any business-related course
- At least 2 years of direct management experience with NKA Big 3 Accounts and significant people management experience
- Skillset: Leadership skills, team management with diverse backgrounds and personalities, coaching, mentoring, negotiation skills, business math and data analytics, strong oral and written communication, proficiency in MS Office Excel, and building rapport.
- Will handle Metro Manila area.
