Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  2. Preferably with experience: 1-2 years of payroll accounting experience, preferably with exposure to both domestic and international transactions.
  3. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
  4. Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and skilled at managing multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Payroll Review and Reconciliation:

  2. Post review of payroll government contributions and loans deductions vs. government remittances.

  3. Review, monitor and reconcile government loans and company loans

  4. Payroll Taxes computation and BIR remittance review:

  5. Get the data of compensations taxes from payroll Team on or before 5th of each month and coordinate with Tax Team for BIR remittance on or before 10th of each month.

  6. Responsible for checking that the total annual compensation matches with the annual alpha list for compensations for all companies.

  7. Reconciliation and Reporting:

  8. Perform various reconciliations for all payroll related matters.

  9. Prepare accounting entries for all payroll related matters
  10. Perform post audit review for all payroll contributions and loans

  11. Government and Company Loans review, monitoring and reconciliation:

  12. Maintain database of all government and company loans for all companies.

  13. Make sure that all loans are deducted from employee's salary per payday.

  14. Responsible for coordinating with Human Resources-Payroll Team for all payroll matters:

  15. Acts as contact person for accounting department for all payroll related matters.

  16. Responsible to get copies of payroll reports (from Sproat, DSR and others) and government remittances reports.

  17. Other duties to be assigned by Management and Accounting Head

  18. Prepare management reports as requested by Management

  19. Recommend changes to improve the payroll accounting process and reconciliation
  20. Other duties to be assigned by Accounting Head and Management
