Job description

Project Design & Engineering

  1. Conduct site assessments.

  2. Develop detailed engineering designs (single-line diagrams, layouts, schematics).

  3. Size solar systems based on energy requirements, site conditions, and client specifications.

  4. Perform electrical calculations (e.g., load analysis, voltage drop, string sizing).

Project Planning & Management

  1. Assist in project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.

  2. Coordinate with procurement and vendors to source components and materials.

  3. Support project managers in tracking project timelines and deliverables.

  4. Prepare technical documentation, including Bill of Materials (BOM), technical datasheets, and reports.

Regulatory & Compliance

  1. Ensure all designs meet local, national, and international codes and standards

  2. Submit designs and documentation for permitting and approvals.

  3. (If needed ) Interface with local authorities and utility companies for grid interconnection.

Installation Support

  1. Provide technical support during installation and commissioning.

  2. Conduct site visits to verify installation quality and adherence to designs.

  3. Troubleshoot technical issues in the field.

Quality Assurance & Safety

  1. Review and enforce QA/QC procedures.

  2. Support HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) practices on-site.

  3. Conduct performance testing and monitoring post-installation.

Use software such as AutoCAD is an advantage
