Orders & Inventory Coordinator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Materials Ordering Coordinator to join our team. This person will be responsible for sourcing, ordering, and tracking materials for remodeling projects. The ideal candidate will be proactive, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced showroom environment.
Duties:
- Place orders for materials such as tile, vanity sinks, slabs, fixtures, and other remodeling products
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery
- Track orders, manage lead times, and follow up on backorders or delays
- Verify accuracy of orders and coordinate delivery schedules
- Maintain organized records of purchase orders, invoices, and receipts
- Collaborate with showroom staff, designers, and project managers to ensure materials align with project.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or vendors
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in purchasing, ordering, or inventory management preferred (remodeling, construction, or design industry a plus)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders at once
- Proficiency in basic computer systems (Google Docs, Google Sheets, or similar)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
