Job Description

As a Corporate Accountant, you will manage month-end close processes, review intercompany balances, prepare statutory lodgments, analyze financial performance, and support system integrations-ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely reporting that strengthens the company's financial foundation.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • CPA-qualified (essential)
  • Experience with Xero or similar accounting systems (Xero preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and dimensionally
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Previous experience in a corporate or multi-entity accounting environment is highly regarded
  • 3-5+ years in accounting or finance roles

Your Daily Tasks

  • Manage the month-end close process, including preparation of journals and reconciliations
  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations and review intercompany balances across group entities
  • Prepare and lodge BAS, payroll tax, and superannuation returns
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and ensure proper asset tracking
  • Assist in documenting and improving accounting policies, internal controls, and procedures
  • Conduct cost variance and financial performance analysis
  • Contribute to the preparation of budgets, cash flow forecasts, and management reports
  • Support ERP implementation and integration of accounting systems or other software tools
