Who are we looking for:

Account Officer (Corporate & Commercial Loans)

Division: Corporate Banking Division

Your role:

  • Account solicitation / marketing of bank products
  • Credit evaluation
  • Preparation of credit proposals for new credit facilities and renewals
  • Obtain credit approval from the Credit Committee
  • Coordination with related units for documentation and implementation purposes
  • Administration and monitoring of borrowing accounts for budget, portfolio quality and audit compliance purposes.
  • Client visitation to obtain / update / validate business information
  • Supervision of account officer assistant in handling loan availment / payments, report preparation and other administrative functions.

Specific duties and responsibilities:

  • Solicit accounts for establishment of credit facilities, cross selling of other bank products such as deposits, insurance, credit card for principals
  • Coordinate / follow-up submission of bank requirements from clients to facilitate evaluation.
  • Prepare financial analysis and evaluation based on historical financial statements and other sources of information (eg. sales invoice)
  • Request credit / trade checkings and appraisal of proposed collateral and review corresponding reports.
  • Prepare credit proposals for new credit facilities and renewals indicating results of evaluation.
  • Obtain credit approval from the Credit Committee
  • Obtain loan and collateral documents from clients prior to implementation of approved loan transaction.
  • Conduct regular client visitation to obtain/update/validate business information
  • Supervise account assistants in handling loan availments / payments, report preparation and other administrative functions.
  • Handle ad hoc duties

Qualifications:

College Graduate of Accounting or Business course (with accounting units)

Knowledge in Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Account Management as an Account Officer.
