Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sourcing Specialist to manage the procurement of food ingredients across our supply chain. This role is responsible for identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring quality standards, and optimizing cost efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of food ingredient markets, supplier relationship management, and regulatory compliance.

This position requires working during the graveyard shift, supporting US supplier communications and ensuring real-time responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure food ingredients in alignment with company quality, cost, and delivery standards.
  • Assist in supplier qualification by gathering documentation, and supporting cross-functional evaluations to ensure suppliers meet regulatory and quality requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
  • Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and trends.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable conditions.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Sales, and QC/QA teams to ensure ingredient specifications are met.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, contracts, and supplier evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sustainability standards, and company policies.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Food Science, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong understanding of food ingredient categories, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite, HubSpot and Microsoft 365.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness and ability to work overnight hours consistently.
  • With own wfh set up and internet/power back up

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with international sourcing and import/export regulations.
  • Familiarity with sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.
  • Knowledge of ERP & CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Oracle).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php33, Php42,000.00 per month
