Job Title: Laboratory Coordinator – Criminology Department

Job Description:

The Laboratory Coordinator oversees the criminology laboratory's daily operations, ensuring that facilities, equipment, and materials are properly managed to support academic instruction, research, and practical training. The role includes coordinating with faculty, students, and external partners to maintain an effective and safe learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage, organize, and maintain laboratory facilities, equipment, and supplies.

· Assist faculty in preparing laboratory activities, demonstrations, and simulations.

· Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper use of laboratory resources.

· Maintain inventory, requisition laboratory supplies, and oversee equipment calibration/repairs.

· Coordinate scheduling and use of the laboratory for classes and training activities.

· Provide technical assistance and supervision to students during laboratory sessions.

· Keep accurate records of laboratory usage, incidents, and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Criminology or a related field

· Experience in laboratory management or criminology-related training is an advantage.

· Strong organizational and multitasking skills

· Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and procedures.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with faculty, staff, and students.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php14,040.00 per month
