A. Sales Strategy & Business Development
1. Develop and implement sales plans aligned with company objectives to increase market share and revenue.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with hospitals, clinics, corporate partners, schools, government agencies, and other potential clients.
3. Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and assess competitor activities.
B. Government Biddings & Projects1. Monitor, evaluate, and participate in government procurement opportunities related to laboratory services.
2. Prepare and oversee bidding documents, ensuring compliance with RA 9184 (Government Procurement Reform Act) and other relevant regulations.
3. Coordinate with management and legal teams to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance in all bid submissions.
4. Establish and maintain professional relationships with government agencies, LGUs, and other public institutions.
5. Track and manage awarded projects, ensuring timely implementation and client satisfaction.
C. Client Relationship Management1. Build and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare providers, corporate accounts, government offices, and other stakeholders.
2. Serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts and projects, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
3. Negotiate and close service contracts, partnerships, and bulk testing agreements.
D. Team Leadership & Performance Management1. Lead, mentor, and supervise the sales team to achieve individual and group targets.
2. Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for sales staff.
3. Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective actions as necessary.
4. Design and implement incentive programs to motivate and retain top performers.
E. Reporting & Analysis1. Prepare and submit timely and accurate sales reports to management, including revenue forecasts, market trends, and client acquisition updates.
2. Analyze sales data to assess performance, identify gaps, and recommend improvement strategies.
3. Track the status of government projects, biddings, and partnerships, reporting progress and results to senior management.
4. Ensure transparency and accountability in all reporting activities.
F. Collaboration & Coordination1. Work closely with Operations, Marketing, and Customer Service departments to align business development efforts with service capabilities.
2. Collaborate with the Finance department to ensure proper pricing strategies and support billing and payment collection for projects.
3. Participate in management meetings to provide insights on sales performance, government bidding opportunities, and market conditions.
Qualifications:· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Medical Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in healthcare, diagnostics, or laboratory services.
· Experience in handling government projects, bids, and contracts is a strong advantage.
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
· Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
· Knowledge of healthcare regulations, government procurement processes, and laboratory industry trends.
· Proficiency in preparing reports, data analysis, and performance tracking.
· Willingness to travel across branches, client sites, and government offices.
