The Technical Sales Supervisor is responsible for independently managing and expanding the sales of specific ingredients within the Dairy and Processed Meat business unit. This role targets customers in the HORECA sector and combines sales, customer relationship management, and technical application support, including product trials and prototyping. The supervisor plays a critical role in delivering value-added ingredient solutions that meet the formulation and performance needs of clients.

1. Sales & Account Management

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the HORECA sector for targeted dairy and meat ingredients.
  • Maintain and grow existing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Independently prepare and deliver sales proposals, negotiate pricing, and close agreements.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation through to after-sales support.

2. Technical Support & Product Application

  • Provide expert technical advice on the application and functionality of specific ingredients in dairy and processed meat formulations.
  • Support customers with product development, including prototyping, application trials, and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with clients to adjust formulations, troubleshoot technical challenges, and optimize product performance.
  • Ensure smooth integration of ingredient solutions into customers' production processes.

3. Market Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and evolving customer needs related to core ingredient categories.
  • Provide regular sales performance reports, market intelligence, and customer feedback to management.
  • Recommend new products or service enhancements based on field insights and market demands.

4. Coordination & Customer Service

  • Collaborate with internal departments (sales administration, logistics, warehouse, procurement, finance) to ensure seamless order fulfillment and service delivery.
  • Address and resolve customer issues relating to product availability, quality, pricing, or delivery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow-through on customer orders and technical support requests.

5. Other Duties

  • Perform additional duties or projects as assigned by management in alignment with broader business goals and strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Meat Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B technical sales experience, preferably in the processed meat or food ingredients industry. ·
  • Strong technical understanding of raw materials used in meat processing.
  • Comfortable working independently and handling multiple responsibilities.
