Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insight Generation

  • Prepare, analyze, and summarize periodic commercial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to develop and deliver insightful analytics and reports.
  • Commercial Performance Insights: Integrate analytics across multiple commercial domains—including Segment, Channels, Revenue Management, Sales, Loyalty, and Enterprise Contribution—to create cohesive, actionable insights.
  • Proactively support Commercial Stakeholders by identifying performance opportunities and highlighting risks related to new hotel openings, conversions, and complex commercial integrations (specifically the Ruby integration).

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate closely with the Hotel Performance Analytics team, Global Insights, Analytics and Data team, and Regional Stakeholders to continuously enhance the quality of data visualizations, analytical tools, and strategic insights.
  • Support the rollout of commercial priorities, including managing ad hoc projects and identifying necessary training and communications to promote and enable self-serve analytics tools among stakeholders.
Qualifications:

Education

  • Required: Bachelor's degree, preferably in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Management, or Economics, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

Experience

  • Minimum: 2+ years of professional experience in the analytics field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating large volumes of information with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Preferred: Experience in the hospitality industry with exposure to Revenue Management or Commercial services.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • Analytical Aptitude: Proven ability to approach complex business problems with a strong, data-driven methodology.
  • Data Visualization: Proficiency in data visualization tools (specifically Tableau) and the ability to produce compelling quantitative and qualitative analysis using these platforms.
  • Microsoft Office: Demonstrated expertise in Excel (including Lookups, Conditional Formatting, and Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint.
  • Industry Knowledge (A Plus): Working knowledge of Commercial / Revenue Management strategies, particularly with a portfolio of multiple properties.
  • Statistics (A Plus): Fundamental knowledge of statistics to support advanced analysis.

  • Communication: Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling business narratives.
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to work cross-functionally with various global and regional teams.
