Consumer Insights Lead

The Consumer Insights Lead role will be responsible for insights generation for Asia Foods Operating Unit. This role will be responsible for identifying consumer led business opportunities to unlock the Foods Business in import-export markets. The role partners with the business in developing commercial unlocks based on sound understanding of consumers, category, competition and business models.
ResponsibilitiesWhat you will be responsible for:
- Develop frameworks and tools to enable Trend spotting across consumers, category, Competition for Philippines markets
- Develop capability to build a predictive model to identify which markets might lead trends within Philippines and develop a lead and lag model
- Develop capability to drive Business, Market Intelligence
- Enable the Business to develop commercial unlocks based on deep consumer / category understanding thorugh commercial thinking
- Innovation Development : Enable quick, agile innovation thinking based on consumer, category understanding\
- Joint Business planning : Partner with commercial and category teams to develop compelling customer Joint-business plans to unlock category growth (BFC & Premium Salty Snacks)
- Manage research conducted by vendors and research agencies to ensure that information generated are relevant to the requirements of the business. Tracks and monitors the brand health of Phils Beverages brands and all Foods brands in the market through studies and research assignments conducted by the agencies.
- Conducts and manages ad-hoc research related to consumer performance evaluation and other research initiatives for urgent information required
- Supports the day to day requirements of the team and distributors in Asia Foods, for data or information required for business-related decisions
What you need to have:
- At least 12-15 yrs of proven functional experience, experience in FMCG will be an advantage
- Min Bachelor's degree in a relevant major
- Sharp analytical mindset and capability to handle, curate and manage large data sets towards generating
Insights and Foresights / Ability to triangulate Machine learning with Human Insights towards Trend Spotting - Experience of working with AI, new age digital Insights tools for brand Building, Innovation, Market Intelligence
- Ability to think Strategically, bring consumer and commercial understanding together
- High Commercial Savviness – ability to work with senior team & challenge/ partner with them in strategic decision.
- Good understanding of Business models such as I/Exp, E commerce etc – Past experience in any of these areas preferred
- Good presentation and story telling capability
- Strong Influencing skill and management skills
- Advance in multi tasking skill & work well under pressure
