Job Description:

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Maintain and reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, ledgers, and balance sheets
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Manage invoices, receipts, and expense tracking
  • Support tax preparation and audits by providing accurate financial data
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a related accounting role
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
