Labor Relations Manager

Job Description:
- Oversees, plans, manages the conduct of Labor/Management activities (e.g. Labor Management Socials, etc.) and Labor Management Council.
- Actively participates in the conduct and preparations for CBA negotiations.
- Conducts active CBA benchmarking with similar institutions.
- Maintains and ensures strategic and harmonious relationship with the Union.
- Ensures compliance to the Labor Code and other relevant laws, rules and regulations while implementing all Management programs and policies.
- Conducts end to end due process in administrative cases.
- Participates, prepares and implements the department's Annual Operational and Budget Plan, incorporating inputs from the subordinates; Monitors and controls department's expenditures based on annual budget.
- Submits weekly and monthly accomplishment reports.
- Evaluates performance of department's staff and initiates or makes recommendations for personnel action where applicable.
- Plans, directs and coordinates all activities of the department to ensure effective and efficient delivery of service
Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of B.S. Political Science / Legal Management / Psychology / Industrial Relations or any related course
- Minimum of five (5) years supervisory level in the field of HR / Labor and/or Industrial Relations
- Extensive experience in a unionized organization
- Computer literate especially in Window–based programs, basic negotiating skills, operational planning and assessment. Designing programs and leading activities, documentation and analysis skills
- Above average communication and customer service skills; able to relate well with people of different background
- Pleasing personality, courteous, honest, time conscious, mature, compassionate, systematic, detail-conscious, reliable, high tolerance to stress, willing to work extended hours
- Must be willing to work onsite in BGC, Taguig
