ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Labor Lawyer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with labor laws, resolving disputes, and safeguarding the company's interests in employment-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, organize, and evaluate evidence and legal documents for labor case preparation.
  • Conduct thorough research on relevant Philippine labor laws, regulations, and jurisprudence.
  • Investigate and resolve labor-related issues across regional areas, propose risk-mitigating solutions, and recommend appropriate courses of action.
  • Provide legal briefings (written or oral) to regional and area staff on potential labor issues, liabilities, and preventive strategies.
  • Manage and coordinate legal proceedings involving labor disputes, controversies, or claims arising from agreements or employee relations.
  • Handle labor-related cases, including drafting and filing Position Papers, Appeals, and other labor-related documentation.
  • Attend and support Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) negotiations.
  • Review and make decisions on labor-related matters in alignment with company policies.
  • Perform other legal or labor-related functions as may be assigned.
ABOUT YOU

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor.
  • Must be a member of the Philippine Bar.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in employee/labor relations or HR legal management.
  • Experience handling NLRC cases, labor tribunals, or employment dispute resolution preferred

Key Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in preparing and reviewing legal documents.
  • Skilled in legal research and interpretation.
  • Proven background in handling labor cases.
  • Experience in collective bargaining agreement negotiations is highly desirable
  • Responsible, results-driven, and collaborative.
