Job Title: Employee Relations Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Employee Relations Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This role is responsible for fostering a positive work environment, addressing employee concerns, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, concerns, and grievances.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints, workplace conflicts, and policy violations in a fair and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to develop and implement employee relations programs that promote engagement, productivity, and retention.
  • Support performance management processes by advising on corrective actions, coaching, and progressive discipline.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations documentation and case files.
  • Partner with legal, compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies.
  • Identify trends in employee relations and recommend proactive solutions to enhance workplace culture.
  • Assist in training managers and employees on conflict resolution, policy compliance, and respectful workplace practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; relevant internship or academic project experience is an advantage.
  • For experienced candidates: 1–2 years of HR or employee relations experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices is an advantage (training will be provided for fresh graduates).
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Experience in mediation or conflict management is an advantage but not required.

Work Schedule & Location:

  • Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: On-call, as business needs require
  • Location: McKinley/ BGC, Taguig City
