We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resource Officer to join our team and oversee key HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
Daily Tasks:
- Post job openings through various job posting sites.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews.
- Manage daily timekeeping and resolve employee time logs in Sprout for payroll.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and regulations.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and maintain a safe work environment.
- Address employee concerns and mediate conflicts.
- Perform administrative and HR-related tasks, including coordinating with HR staff.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Weekly Tasks:
- Prepare Weekly Accomplishment Reports (WAR) for submission to the Admin.
- Track and organize employee 201 files (physical and digital via Sprout HR).
- Coordinate with the Executive Assistant regarding office needs and supplies.
Monthly and Bi-Monthly Tasks:
- Administer HRIS and payroll using Sprout HR and Sprout Payroll.
- Process payroll and address payroll-related concerns.
- Coordinate with the PH Accounting team to finalize payroll.
- Prepare government contribution reports.
- Work with third-party providers for government statutory remittances.
- Develop and update the monthly HR calendar.
- Monitor company loans issued to employees.
- Organize employee programs and activities such as eat-outs, meetings, birthday and anniversary celebrations, Christmas parties, and other company-related events.
- Handle employee grievances and concerns.
- Process final pay for employees exiting the company.
- Administer performance reviews for employees at 3 months, 5 months, and annually.
Quarterly Tasks:
- Secure and update all business permits.
- Plan and manage major employee events such as team buildings and company-wide activities.
Yearly Tasks:
- Prepare and create job descriptions and hiring specifications.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations and assessments.
- Assist in strategic workforce planning and policy updates.
Upon Need/Request:
- Prepare job offer letters and communicate pre-employment requirements.
- Verify pre-employment requirements and prepare employment contracts.
- Coordinate interview schedules with managers.
- Administer employee benefits, including HMO, SIL, maternity benefits, and SSS loans.
- Facilitate offboarding processes, including exit clearances and interviews.
- Draft and update company policies and memorandums.
- Collaborate with supervisors and managers on HR-related concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a BPO or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and compliance.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (Sprout HR & Payroll is an advantage).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php35, Php40,000.00 per month
