Technical Services Manager

The Supply Chain Technical Services Manager is responsible for enabling a data-driven supply chain by ensuring the quality, accuracy, and availability of supply chain information. The role provides leadership in transforming data into actionable insights that strengthen decision-making, enhance performance visibility, and drive continuous process improvement.

Additionally, the position manages the Supply Chain Technical Services team, providing technical and analytical expertise while ensuring effective prioritization of resources. The role also supports digital transformation initiatives, acting as a bridge between business requirements and technology solutions to enable automation, reporting, and workflow enhancements.

Beyond delivery, the position plays a strategic role in developing organizational capability-overseeing the management of large and complex datasets, embedding advanced analytics and automation, and coaching team members to build sustainable expertise in digital and data-driven practices.

  Leaders can instantly see what's happening (trends, issues) via clear dashboards and reports.
• Actionable Analytics:
  Data doesn't just sit there—it actively drives important decisions (e.g.,

  to improve a process).
• Efficiency:
  New technical solutions and improved workflows make the entire Supply Chain run better and more smoothly across different teams.
• Modernization:
  Automation, digital tools, and the use of advanced analytics (like AI-powered tools) are increasing, which reduces errors and speeds up operations.
• Project Delivery:
  When a cross-functional project needs data or technical support, you deliver high-quality results on time.

Qualification:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience that directly links Supply Chain and Data/Technology.
• Managing data and turning it into performance-enhancing reports.
• Leading or participating in major digital and automation projects.
• Managing projects, resolving issues, and coaching a team.
• Required: Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field like Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Information Systems.
• Advantage: A Master's degree in a related analytical field (e.g., Business Analytics) is a plus.
• This role requires a blend of Leadership, Technical, and Process skills:
• Technical: Expertise in Analytics & Visualization (e.g., Power BI), Big Data Management, and Operations Research/Modeling (using statistics like forecasting, optimization).
• Leadership/Soft Skills: Ability to coach and mentor team members and manage complex projects with various stakeholders.
• Process: Deep knowledge of Supply Chain best practices and a background in Process Improvement methodologies (like Lean Six Sigma).

Skills and Certification (Preferred/Optional):

• Leadership & Coaching – ability to mentor and guide team members in analytics, digital tools, and automation to build overall team capability.
• Big Data Management – ability to oversee and guide the team in handling large, complex datasets across ERP, OLAP, and external sources; ensuring scalability, accuracy, and integration.
• Analytics & Visualization – translating data into insights and building effective dashboards.
• Certifications: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (or similar)
• Operations Research & Modeling – applying forecasting, optimization, regression, and scenario analysis.
• Process Improvement – improving efficiency through structured methodologies.
• Certifications: Lean Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt)
• Project Management – planning, coordinating, and delivering projects with stakeholder alignment.
• Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certification, CSM
• Supply Chain Knowledge – applying best practices in planning, inventory, and end-to-end processes.
