Technical Documentation Creation

• Develop comprehensive technical documentation for enterprise systems, APIs, and software applications;
• Create and maintain user manuals, system guides, and standard operating procedures;
• Document system architectures, integration flows, and technical specifications;
• Ensure documentation alignment with both Agile and traditional development methodologies; and
• Implement version control and documentation lifecycle management practices.

Content Strategy & Standards

• Develop and maintain documentation templates and style guides;
• Implement documentation best practices and industry standards;
• Create and maintain information architecture for technical content;
• Ensure consistency across all technical documentation; and,
• Optimize content for searchability and user experience.

Technical Collaboration & Integration

Engineering Team Collaboration

• Work with development teams to gather technical requirements;
• Participate in sprint planning and technical review sessions;
• Review code repositories and technical specifications;
• Validate technical accuracy of documentation; and,
• Maintain alignment with product development cycles.

Quality Assurance and Improvement

• Perform regular documentation audits and quality checks;
• Track and implement user feedback on documentation;
• Monitor documentation effectiveness through metrics;
• Maintain compliance with security and regulatory requirements; and,
• Drive continuous improvement in documentation processes.

Technical Knowledge Management

Knowledge Base Development

• Create and maintain technical knowledge base articles;
• Develop troubleshooting guides and FAQs;
• Document best practices and common solutions;
• Organize technical content for easy access; and,
• Update documentation based on system changes and updates.

Technical Communication

• Transform complex technical concepts into clear documentation;
• Create visual aids and diagrams for technical concepts;
• Develop training materials for technical features;
• Write release notes and technical bulletins; and,

• Maintain consistent technical terminology.

• Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 3+ years of technical writing experience in software/IT industry;

• Strong understanding with enterprise software and API documentation, preferably with portfolio of technical documentation samples;
• Knowledge of static site generators (Jekyll, Hugo);
• Familiarity with basic programming concepts and languages (JavaScript, Python), database systems, cloud platforms, API documentation, and system architecture; and,
• Proficiency in tools for documentation platforms such as Confluence and SharePoint, markdown and technical writing tools, diagramming tools such as Visio, Drawio, and version control systems such as Git.

Stradcom Corporation is the proponent of the multi-billion peso computerization of the Philippine Land Transportation Office (LTO), the agency that registers motor vehicles, issues drivers' licenses, and enforces laws of land transportation, and is administered under the Department of Transportation (DOTr).

Through a nationwide IT infrastructure consisting of the development of software for formal business processes, the establishment of a huge data powerhouse, the interconnection of LTO's almost 300 offices, the delivery of all hardware and equipment, and the provision of operating and support services throughout the entire concession agreement, which is now in its extension period, STRADCOM provides a service to government consistent with the provisions of the BOT Privatization Law (in particular, a Build-Own-Operate contractual scheme), while establishing a solid business model built on the generation and collection of service revenues from the transacting public.
