Job Summary

The Project Development Officer is responsible for managing specified, complex, and challenging projects within the project development program and working with the Development Team to achieve the objectives efficiently and effectively

Responsibilities

  • Project Management Assist the Development Manager with preparing and monitoring the project;
  • To deliver development projects by Luminous design and specification;
  • Monitor the performance of contractors and consultants;
  • Ensure contract management procedures comply with statutory requirements and best practices;
  • Provide written, verbal, and numerical reports as required by the Development Manager;
  • Contribute to and produce Board Re
  • orts about development projects;
  • Ensure the Project Database is updated as required and necessary;
  • Attend evening meetings as required to meet the needs of the Development Projects;
  • Liaise with local communities, funders, professional consultants, and other stakeholders from the start stage to final account and end-of-year defects;
  • To carry out other duties, within the scope of the job, and to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications:

To do well as a Project Development Officer, the person we are looking for should have the following preferred qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Engineering or relevant fields
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Development
  • Experience in Energy & Power
  • Communication and Coordination Skills
  • Strong analytical mindset
  • Negotiation skills
