Job Summary:

The Western Chef is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting a wide range of Western-style dishes, ensuring high quality, consistency, and excellent taste. This role requires creativity, expertise in Western culinary techniques, and strong coordination with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Western cuisine dishes such as steaks, pasta, grilled meats, sauces, and soups.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to company standards and plating guidelines.
  • Develop and innovate new Western recipes or seasonal menu items.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff in proper cooking methods, portion control, and food presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
  • Monitor inventory, manage food costs, and assist in ordering ingredients and supplies.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Coordinate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation during service hours.
  • Assist in planning menus, costing, and maintaining food quality consistency.
  • Handle guest feedback and ensure customer satisfaction through quality meals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef or Cook specializing in Western cuisine and pizza-making.
  • Strong knowledge of pizza preparation (dough, sauces, toppings, and baking techniques).
  • Culinary degree or certification is an advantage but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
  • Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills.
  • Creativity and passion for developing new recipes and menu items.
  • Willing to work abroad (Austrialia)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php2,600,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Quezon City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • NC 2 Bartending (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 100% (Preferred)
