Pizza Chef

Job Summary:

The Pizza Chef is responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting authentic, high-quality pizzas in accordance with company standards. The role requires expertise in dough preparation, sauce creation, topping selection, and oven management to deliver consistent, flavorful pizzas that delight customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to recipes, quality standards, and guest requests.
• Make fresh pizza dough daily, ensuring correct texture, elasticity, and fermentation.
• Prepare sauces, toppings, and cheese blends for daily service.
• Operate and maintain pizza ovens (wood-fired, brick, or deck) safely and efficiently.
• Monitor cooking times and oven temperatures to ensure perfect crust and flavor balance.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper sanitation of the pizza station.
• Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are followed at all times.
• Assist in developing new pizza recipes and seasonal specials.
• Check stock levels, manage ingredient rotation, and report shortages to the Head Chef.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff for timely and efficient order delivery.
• Maintain portion control and reduce food waste.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pizza Chef, Cook, or in a similar culinary role.
• Strong knowledge of pizza dough fermentation, baking techniques, and Italian-style ingredients.
• Experience operating different types of pizza ovens.
• Culinary training or certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
• Knowledge of kitchen safety and food sanitation standards.
• Willing to work abroad (Australia)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php2,600,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Quezon City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 100% (Preferred)
