Job Title: HOTEL EXECUTIVE CHEF

Department: Kitchen / Food & Beverage

Reports To: General Manager

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef oversees all culinary operations of the hotel, ensuring high-quality food preparation, presentation, and consistency across all outlets. He/She leads the kitchen brigade, manages food costs, maintains hygiene and safety standards, and develops creative menus aligned with the hotel's brand and guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities, including restaurant, banquets, and room service.
  • Plan and develop menus that balance creativity, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
  • Ensure strict compliance with sanitation, health, and safety regulations.
  • Manage food inventory, purchasing, and supplier coordination in collaboration with Purchasing and Cost Control.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate kitchen staff to maintain consistent performance and teamwork.
  • Work closely with the F&B Manager to develop promotions and new culinary offerings.
  • Control food and labor costs to meet profitability targets.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.

Qualifications:

  • Culinary Arts Degree or equivalent professional training.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive or Sous Chef in a hotel or upscale restaurant.
  • Strong leadership, creativity, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of kitchen management, food costing, and menu planning.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time; 6-day work week (subject to hotel operational needs).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php65, Php80,000.00 per month
