Job Description

As a Dynamics 365 F&O Developer, you will design, develop, and enhance ERP, Power Platform, and automation solutions that keep global operations running efficiently. You'll collaborate across IT, business analysis, and infrastructure teams to deliver streamlined, data-driven systems that support continuous improvement.

The Qualifications We Seek

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience

• 1-3+ years in Dynamics 365 F&O development using X++.
• Experience with Power BI and PowerApps (Canvas & Model-driven).
• Experience with Azure DevOps, version control, CI/CD, and ALM practices.
• Background in D365 upgrade cycles and regression testing.
• Experience or interest in integrating manufacturing automation systems with ERP.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in SQL, performance tuning, OData, REST, Dataverse, Dual-Write, Logic Apps, and Power Automate.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to document processes clearly and translate technical concepts for cross-functional audiences.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 F&O Developer or Functional Consultant
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
• Azure DevOps Engineer (or equivalent)

Your Daily Tasks

• Design, develop, and customize Dynamics 365 F&O extensions and workflows using X++, following clean code principles and standards.
• Build advanced Power BI dashboards and reports using DAX, data modeling, and D365 integration.
• Develop and maintain PowerApps (Canvas & Model-driven) with integrations to Dataverse, F&O, and external systems.
• Manage code lifecycle using Azure DevOps, including branching, CI/CD pipelines, revision tracking, and deployment automation.
• Test and update custom code during Microsoft's D365 bi-annual upgrades, conducting regression testing and resolving logic conflicts.
• Implement and optimize integrations with manufacturing automation systems for real-time data synchronization.
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and release notes.
• Conduct unit, integration, regression, and UAT testing to ensure performance stability.
• Optimize X++, SQL, and reporting performance.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical deliverables.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot issues as needed.
