Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative, you will assist patients in placing prescription orders, ensuring smooth communication between patients and the pharmacy team. You'll manage inquiries, verify details, and ensure accuracy in all interactions-all while upholding the highest standards of care and confidentiality.

The Qualifications We Seek

• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Preferred: Experience in pharmacy, healthcare, medical office, customer service, or similar field
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
• Proficiency with computer systems and customer service software
• Empathy, patience, and a strong desire to help others

Your Daily Tasks

• Assist patients with placing prescription orders via phone, email, or other communication channels
• Liaise with the pharmacy team to confirm prescription details and ensure accurate fulfillment
• Communicate clearly with patients regarding order status, prescription questions, and general inquiries
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and prescription details
• Ensure compliance with privacy laws and healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
• Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
• Identify and escalate any prescription or service issues as needed
