Job Description

As a Bookkeeper, you'll oversee the full accounting cycle-managing reconciliations, payroll, reporting, and compliance with accuracy and efficiency. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help ensure seamless financial operations and reliable insights for decision-making across the business.

Shift: Morning Shift (6AM-3PM Tue-Sat) or Night Shift (10PM-7AM Mon-Fri)

Work setup: Hybrid, Makati

Salary: PHP 70, PHP 75,

The Qualifications We Seek

  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in full‐charge bookkeeping
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word)
  • Discreet with handling confidential information
  • Able to adapt, multitask, set priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Efficient in preparing reports, documents, and correspondence
  • Works well both independently and collaboratively
  • Proficient in accounting software, preferably NetSuite

Your Daily Tasks

  • Handle the fundamental day-to-day aspects of the company's financial record keeping
  • Prepare and file 1099s annually
  • Prepare and file Sales and Use Tax Returns annually
  • Calculate employee compensation from time cards and process semi-monthly payroll
  • Reconcile bank statements monthly to ensure accuracy
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other specialized reports monthly, quarterly, and annually
  • Prepare, post, and reconcile journal entries monthly for general ledger accuracy
  • Manage full-cycle accounts payable-verify, allocate, post, cut, and print checks or process electronic payments on time
  • Manage full-cycle accounts receivable, including bank deposits and invoice preparation
  • Track company expenses, including but not limited to prepaid and cash flow items
  • Prepare and update company budgets as required
  • Complete and assist with audits to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Prepare and distribute appropriate schedules and financial reports as requested
  • Ensure all accounting functions are performed correctly by researching and resolving discrepancies as needed
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system-both paper and electronic
  • Collaborate with external CPAs and other financial professionals as needed
  • Maintain and update the company's chart of accounts
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal government reporting requirements
  • Conduct reconciliations of all accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements in a timely manner
  • Perform all data entry of disbursements for the VC account
  • Prepare and file Form 592 quarterly and annually for VC
  • Manage year-end processing and reporting for VC
